Our story

The ROLLA story

Rolla focuses on halal tofu pok, so customers of every background can enjoy this familiar local food too.

ROLLA’s story began with a Muslim girl’s love of yong tau fu. What drew her in was how many choices it offers — different ingredients and combinations, so every meal can be exactly to her taste.

That love gave her an idea: let people of every community enjoy yong tau fu easily, and share this good food together. That is how ROLLA got its start.

We want to keep the familiar taste of yong tau fu while bringing in a younger, more modern approach that is closer to Malaysia’s many cultures, so this traditional food finds its way into more people’s everyday lives.

At ROLLA, tradition doesn’t mean never changing. We believe familiar food can keep taking in new ideas, new pairings and new possibilities.
