AMs Group is rooted in Malaysia’s local food industry, focusing on food production, product development and supply. All along, we have believed that familiar local flavours deserve to be done properly. From preparing ingredients and cooking to reaching our customers’ hands, every step shapes the taste of a meal — and the trust customers place in us.

One pot of rice, one soybean, one young man who refuses to quit.

This is the story of a boy from a hill town who watched his mother cook pot after pot at the stove — and decided to carry that taste much further.

    THE HILLS

    Bentong, ringed by mountains

    Hills on every side. The older generation were in the rubber estates before sunrise. Life was not easy, but the water was clean and the people honest — that is how Bentong tofu became famous.

    THE STOVE

    Mum’s one big pot

    It all began at his mother’s economy-rice stall. No big signboard — just a fire lit before dawn every day, and plates packed with care. Fed customers came back. That was the first brand.

    THE WORK

    Young? Let the work speak

    He took on the family business early. When people saw how young he was, he did not argue — he learned branding, perfected products and showed up at expos. One soybean slowly grew into four brands and four named characters.

    THE HORIZON

    Taking Bentong to the world

    Next stop is the wider world: food with characters, stories and warmth, like a theme park — so that with the first bite, people also remember a little hill town called Bentong.

酿 (niang) — the craft

In Chinese food culture, “niang” is a craft: filling each piece by hand, slowly and with care. It is not fast-food speed; it is handwork, one piece at a time.

料 (liao) — everything

“Liao” is the ingredients — and everything else: tofu, fish paste, recipes, people, stories. In Cantonese “yau liu” means having real substance. Many of Tianji’s ideas start from these two words.

Making a simple meal satisfying and warm, and bringing familiar local flavours into more homes and kopitiams — that is what AMs Group keeps working towards.

  • We deliver by cold-chain refrigerated truck. Styrofoam boxes are not provided.

  • Please put them in the freezer as soon as possible.

  • Please contact us with your order details, photos of the product and a description of the problem, so we can understand and handle it quickly.

  • Because frozen food has strict storage and transport requirements, we generally do not accept return or exchange requests due to a change of mind, personal taste or ordering mistakes. This does not apply to product quality problems.

  • Yes — some treats are sold only at our outlets and aren’t available for delivery. You’re welcome to visit a Tianji outlet to try them.

  • Tianji Stuffed Food welcomes F&B operators, retailers and anyone keen to run a stuffed-food business.
